Buses and trains and planes, oh my!

Given the scope and severity of climate change and the mission of the Coral Restoration Consortium, the Reef Futures 2018 Planning Committee has taken steps to ensure this event does not contribute to increased CO₂ without making an effort to offset the problem. This group seeks to the cut down carbon emissions related to travel and lodging for the event.  All Symposium registrations include a $15 contribution to a carbon offset project. Proceeds will be awarded to a worthy organization at the Closing Ceremony whose work is demonstrably contributing to carbon sequestration and offset through habitat restoration.
